Life Outside of  Thomas Jefferson High School

 I was born in Boulder, Colorado, but I grew up down the street in Englewood, CO. I graduated from Englewood High School in 2009 and have been dedicated to the English Language Arts and Education ever since. I attended the University of Denver for one year where I was involved in Slam Poetry and had two poems published in the Foothills Literary Journal. I then transferred to Metropolitan State University of Denver where I majored in English and Secondary Education. This summer I graduated from Regis University with an MFA in Creative writing.  I have published work in The Colorado Sun and The Compulsive Reader, and I am nearly finished writing my first novel. This is my eighth year at TJ and I am incredibly excited to call myself a Spartan! In my off time, I love to read, write, hike, camp, go to concerts and hang out with my animals! Welcome to TJ!
